Murray Haunted Woods

Step Into the Shadows: Murray’s 51st Annual Haunted Trails Is Back and More Creative Than Ever!

October 20–22, 2025 | Murray Park

MURRAY, Utah — The screams, the laughs, and the memories are back! Murray’s 51st Annual Haunted Trails rises again, brought to life by the Murray Youth Community Council (MYCC) and the Murray Exchange Club, alongside Exchange Clubs from across the valley.

This year’s theme, “The Most Creative Year Yet,” celebrates the talents of Murray’s youth, local artists, and community members who have come together to make this long-standing tradition more fun each year.

The event will take place Monday through Wednesday, October 20–22, from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. in Murray Park (north parking lot across from the Parks & Recreation Center, next to the Parks & Rec Office).

Event Schedule

  • “Silly Trails” – 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Perfect for all ages, featuring trick-or-treating and lighthearted fun.

  • “Scary Trails” – 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

When night falls, the woods come alive with frights, lights, and surprises!

Event Highlights

  • Watch for Flash Mobsters, surprise performances throughout the night.

  • Meet the Ghostbusters and their famous 3-story Marshmallow Man for photo ops.

  • Say hello to the Chick-fil-A Cow and see their Hot Air Balloon.

  • Visit the fortune teller in the gazebo—if you dare!

  • Enjoy a Dunford Donut and Chocholaty Hot Chocolate! to end your night.

  • Bring your trick-or-treat bags for the “Silly Trails.”

  • Use the secret phrase “GHOULS BE GONE” for those who prefer less scares.

And don’t worry about the weather—this outdoor event goes on rain or shine!

Supporting the Community

In addition to the fun, attendees are encouraged to support local families by bringing donations for the Murray Children’s Food Pantry. An “Empty Coffin” donation drop will be located by the ticket booth for non-perishable food items.

Special Thanks

This community event wouldn’t be possible without the support of local partners, including:

  • AAA Restoration – for incredible manpower and behind-the-scenes support.

  • Jenn Kikel-Lynn’s Give Back Brokerage – for feeding staff each night.

  • Andy Evans & Family Company – the creative “bones” behind the event.

  • Murray Chamber of Commerce and the Richart Family – for helping bring the woods to life with skill and creativity.

We also thank Parents Empowered for partnering to promote a healthy, drug-free community, and invite everyone to grab this year’s special “Love Murray Halloween” shirts and glow-in-the-dark gear to stay safe while celebrating.
